Privacy policy

CallYourPrice (“we”, “us”) is a price-drop alert service that hasn’t launched yet. This policy covers this website and our waitlist. We’ll update it before launch to cover accounts, alerts and text messages.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist, and which sign-up form you used.
- What you’re hunting for, if you tell us when you sign up (it’s optional).
- Items you ask us to watch: the product link, the product name and price shown on that page, and your target price.
- Where you came from, if you sign up: the referring website or campaign tag in the link you followed. Until then it stays in your browser’s session storage and is gone when you close the tab.
- Basic request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Our network provider (Cloudflare) and our web server process this to deliver the site, block abuse and limit repeated sign-up attempts.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It’s cookieless and doesn’t track you across sites. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we don’t set any cookies of our own.
We count page views and visits per page per day, as totals only. No cookies, no IP address or identifier is stored, and we skip counting if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. To tell a new visit from another page, your browser keeps a simple flag in session storage, which is gone when you close the tab.
How we use it
- To send you early-access and launch emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To offer to watch the items you saved once we launch and you start a free trial or plan (we can’t watch Amazon or Walmart items).
- To learn which links and sites bring people to CallYourPrice.
- To keep the site running, secure and free of spam.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (such as Cloudflare for network delivery and analytics), and only as needed to provide that service, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email, what you said you’re hunting for, where you came from, and the items you ask us to watch until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Unsubscribing deletes all of it, and deleting your email deletes your saved items. If you create an account at launch, the account terms will apply to it.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe with the link in any email we send. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, at any time by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local law; we’ll honor them.
Children
CallYourPrice is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If the change is significant, we’ll tell waitlist members by email.
